An excellent opportunity to build a career in a dynamic growing business, based within our Management Accounts department you will undertake a developing range of duties on behalf of our clients. You will work alongside experienced and qualified staff whilst receiving comprehensive training and our full support as you study for your exams. The workload is varied and we do insist that all work is completed to strict deadlines and the highest standards. However, this is a real opportunity for long term career progression for someone with the right combination of skills, aptitude, and character.

Key Responsibilities

Processing of client accounts
Preparation of accounting reconciliations and trial balances
Bank reconciliations
Arranging Bacs payments
Preparation of VAT returns and client reports
Various office and administrative tasks
Holiday and absence cover as necessary
Other duties as specified

Skills and Qualifications


2:2 degree or above in any subject
Ability to work to deadlines and produce high quality work
Highly organised with ability to prioritise workload
Accurate and methodical approach
Excellent communication skills with ability to engage with staff and clients at all levels
Excellent IT and numeracy skills
A flexible, positive approach to work


Experience in an accounting environment


As well as receiving full in-house training you will be required to enter into a Training Agreement, as detailed previously, designed to support you as you progress through the qualification process.
