Beware – April Fools Day is VAT Day!

 

Don’t let the April Fools Day VAT deadline bite – If your business has a turnover of £100,000 or more, or you are a newly VAT registered business, you must submit your Return online and pay electronically from 1st April 2010. Late payments can result in being charged a higher percentage of your unpaid VAT or HMRC could perform their own assessment on your VAT liability.
